Compact flush-mount controllers that bring Nessum connectivity to building automation applications. The DC1E provides FastEthernet, a relay, a trigger input, and an RS485 interface. The unit is powered directly from the 2Wire bus and delivers 12V power to local sensors or card readers. The housing fits into standard flush mount boxes, making them ideal for access control, door management, and sensor integration.
Description
Connects to any Nessum Wire (IEEE1901) bus, e.g. as provided by the 2Wire Converter
Powered from the Nessum Wire bus, no separate power supply required; power supply via the Nessum interface is indicated by LED; Nessum wiring is polarity-free
Up to 50 devices can be supported on a single Nessum Wire bus (actual number of devices depends on power drawn from the 12VDC output)
Fast-Ethernet 100BASE-TX with internal transformer (MDI interface): RX + TX pair; Ethernet link and activity indicated by LED
1 relay form C: normally open/close and common; 0.6 A at 125 VAC, 2 A at 30 VDC; relay operation is signaled by LED
Relay can be used for opening door locks or operating motor locks
1 trigger input, biased high: pull to ground for trigger; trigger input operation is signaled by LED
Trigger input can be used for door opener function, door status indication or external sensors
Serial interface RS485 half-duplex, e.g. for connection of card readers
